How does Web Wide Video protect my private information?

To ensure the security of customer information, Web Wide Video uses actively rotating encryption keys within its databases.

Translation: Even if someone were to come in posession of a backup tape of WWV's customer database, from a hacker perspective it would be almost worthless because it is encrypted.

Furthermore, the encryption keys aren't stored in the database as they are rotating keys that are generated dynamically. From a hacker's perspective, Web Wide Video is like an econobox with a fairly decent car alarm and a steering wheel lock. The information isn't worth stealing (since WWV doesn't store credit card numbers), and with the effort required to do so an attacker is likely to look for an easier target to attack first.

That's not to say that Web Wide Video is hacker proof; no web site is completely hack proof. But again, there are far easier targets with far more interesting information on them to steal from than Web Wide Video.
